What I thought about Dawn of Forever

Wow. Just wow!  That's how I felt when I got to the end of this book. Did I mention I read it in less than 24  hours because I just couldn't put it down?  Jewel E. Ann saves some dark and twisty for the final book in this series, and it packs a punch.

With Luke figuring out that the love of his life is still alive, Jillian/Jessica grieving over AJ, and Jackson/Jude sorting through his feelings for Ryn, there's a whole lot going on at the start of Dawn of Forever.  Things just get more complicated and intense as the story progresses, too.  I can't really tell you about it because it will spoil all the juicy reveals for you, but this book was chock full of surprises.  There isn't as much humor in this one as the first two books in the series, but that was okay with me. This series is about love and tragedy and the final book does it up perfectly.

The beauty in Dawn of Forever for me was the masterful way Jewel E. Ann chose to tell this story through flashbacks and a variety of points of view. She strips down the main characters, ripping off the band-aids layer by layer until the whole bloody truth is exposed and everyone is standing in the rubble.

There's gallon buckets of emotions too, as hearts are broken and mended along with dark and twisty suspense that might stay with you for a little while. I finished this book last night and I'm still thinking about it today.

If you like romantic suspense with an intricate plot that will blow your mind, you might just like this series. This will definitely be on my list of favorites for 2016.

About the Author

Jewel is a free-spirited romance junkie with a quirky sense of humor.
With 10 years of flossing lectures under her belt, she took early retirement from her dental hygiene career to stay home with her three awesome boys and manage the family business.

After her best friend of nearly 30 years suggested a few books from the Contemporary Romance genre, Jewel was hooked. Devouring two and three books a week but still craving more, she decided to practice sustainable reading, AKA writing.

When she’s not donning her cape and saving the planet one tree at a time, she enjoys yoga with friends, good food with family, rock climbing with her kids, watching How I Met Your Mother reruns, and of course…heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, panty-scorching novels.
