Release Blitz & Review:Two is a Lie (Tangled Lies #2) by Pam Godwin

New Release - Two is a Lie Book 2 in the Tangled Lies series

Two lies. Two men who don’t share.
I never stopped loving Cole. Not when he left me. Not when he disappeared for three years. Not when he crashed back into my life in a violent explosion of testosterone and fury. His sudden reappearance questions everything I thought I knew, including how I came to love another man.
Trace is an intoxicating breeze of seduction over ice. My rock. My second chance at forever. And he’s committed to annihilating the competition.
The battle that ensues wrenches me back and forth between them. Fighting and fucking. Resisting and submitting.
Together, they entangle me in a web of lies, rivalry, and desire that weaves as deeply as their devotion to me.
I love two men, and if I can only have one, I choose none.

What I thought about Two is a Lie

Danni has a problem. She's got two men and she's engaged to both. Both men are hot, hot, hot and both men want her.  So she decides she's going to date them in order to figure out who she's going to pick. Only problem -- the solution might just wear all three of them down.

Most of the book is Danni struggling with her decision, and Cole and Trace waiting her out while she dates them both.  These are two guys that aren't about to share, although they do have some mysterious past connection that frankly bugged me throughout this entire book.  I just had the feeling there was a whole lot more to the Trace/Cole connection and I wanted to know what Danni didn't know but needed to.

While the book was a bit repetitious with the push and pull between Danni and her men, and I wanted to shake the three of them until they at least thought they might be able to share. I loved when Danni's frustration level maxed out regarding their sins of omission.  Now, I can't tell you what happens, but I will say that I loved how this book ended!  There's a nice little twist that validated some of my theories about Cole and Trace and just what they are into with their unknown employer.

This has been a terrific series so far.  I know some readers don't like "triangle" story lines, but this one has got me wondering how in the world this is all going to resolve.  There's a mystery here, and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes in the conclusion of the series.

Overall, this is the type of writing and story telling I've come to expect from Pam Godwin -- a tightly woven tale of lies and love that will keep me guessing until the end.  While I had a few minor issues with Two is a Lie,  I'm loving this series hard and can't wait to see how this all works out in the end.

An ARC was provided for review.

The conclusion is coming soon!
