Release Day Blitz & Review: One is a Promise by Pam Godwin

One is a Promise

One promise. One forever.

One look and I knew Cole was mine. My dark rebel in leather. My powerhouse of passion, devastating smiles, and impulsiveness. When his job sends him overseas, he promises to return to me. A promise that’s destroyed in the most irrevocable way.

Two years later, an arrogant suit invades my heartbroken loneliness.

Clean-cut and stern, Trace is everything Cole wasn’t. At first, he’s a job that will rescue my dance company. But as he intrudes on my life, our hostile relationship evolves. He knows I’m still in love with Cole, but his dedication is my undoing.

Then a catastrophic moment changes everything.

Promises resurface. Lies entangle. And an impossible choice shatters my world.
I love two men, and I can only have one.

What I thought about One is a Promise

Book hangover.

I finished One is a Promise a few days ago, and it's still on my mind and I can't wait for the next installment.  I need it like... now!  But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Danni had it all with Cole.  He's everything she ever wanted, but when he has to leave for a year on a mysterious mission, she's left to plan her wedding and get everything ready for his return. Except he doesn't come back and she's faced with dealing with everything.  Fast forward 4 years later, and Danni still hasn't been able to move on.

That is until Trace shows up and hires her to dance in his casino.  Trace is a strange combination of sexy and hate-your-guts, because he's at times nice and at times downright nasty to Danni.  But there is a lot of fire between them, and quite a bit of push and pull that I was never quite sure about Trace's motives or feelings for Danni. It takes a while for them to wear each other down and Trace will probably frustrate the reader as much as he frustrated Danni. But eventually they have to move forward, and they do.  Danni and Trace together are like an explosion and when it detonates, their world changes.

Just when you think Danni and Trace get it all together, their world is tipped upside down.  You can probably guess what happens. This book ends in a huge cliffhanger and it's fabulous!

One is a Promise isn't about twists or surprises. It's about love and it raises many questions about how and who and why when it comes to the heart.  I loved every minute of this book. There are a few scenes that did have me cringing a bit, but I liked that too, because sometimes life does that to you.

I can't wait to see how everything is going to get resolved.  Bring on Two is a Lie!

An ARC was provided for review.

Two is a Lie

Release Date: July 11, 2017

Two lies. Two men who don’t share.

I never stopped loving Cole. Not when he left me. Not when he disappeared for three years. Not when he crashed back into my life in a violent explosion of testosterone and fury. His sudden reappearance questions everything I thought I knew, including how I came to love another man.

Trace is an intoxicating breeze of seduction over ice. My rock. My second chance at forever. And he’s committed to annihilating the competition.

The battle that ensues wrenches me back and forth between them. Fighting and fucking. Resisting and submitting.

Together, they entangle me in a web of lies, rivalry, and desire that weaves as deeply as their devotion to me.

I love two men, and if I can only have one, I choose none.

Three is a War

Release Date: August 29, 2017

Three means war. Three sides vying for forever.

Cole. My first love. The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me.

Trace. My second chance. Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist.

Me. The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight. I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering. What options do I have left?

I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I fight.
