Cedar Ridge, Colorado, is famous for crisp mountain air, clear blue skies, and pine-scented breezes. And it’s the last place Lily Danville wants to be. But she needs a job, and there’s an opening at the hottest resort in her hometown. What has her concerned is the other hot property in Cedar Ridge: Aidan Kincaid-firefighter, rescue worker, and heartbreaker. She never could resist that devastating smile…
The Kincaid brothers are as rough and rugged as the Rocky Mountains they call home. Aidan has always done things his own way, by his own rules. And never has he regretted anything more than letting Lily walk out of his life ten years ago. If anyone has ever been in need of rescuing, she has. What she needs more than anything are long hikes, slow dances, and sizzling kisses. But that can only happen if he can get her to give Cedar Ridge-and this bad boy-a second chance . . .

What I thought about Second Chance Summer
Lily is returning home to Colorado after some bad circumstances in California where she's lived for the last ten years. But the inhabitants of Cedar Ridge remember her, especially Aiden Kincaid, the one guy she loved and left.
Aiden's a bit of a thrill seeker, working in a variety of dangerous jobs, fireman, search and rescue and helping his family run the local resort. When Lily just happens to get a job at the resort, it's no wonder that they keep running into each other, and the attraction between them flares until they just have to give into it.
There's a lot of heat between these two when they get going, and I found both of these characters likable mostly because they were a little older, had a few experiences in their past, and had to make a decision on whether to take the happiness in front of them.
The supporting cast of Aiden's family and the beauty salon's employees really worked for me and some of the scenes made me laugh. There's great sibling dialogue between Aiden and his brothers that I loved too. LIke real family they meddle in each other's lives in a loving and meaningful way. And there's a cute gag with underwear that made me smile.
So much to like in this book, it's going to be on my best of 2015 list. Everytime I read Jill Shalvis, I ask myself why I'm not reading more of her work. Since this is the first book in this series, I'm definitely hooked and will be watching for more stories from Cedar Ridge.
Recommended for fans of contemporary romance.
Releases on June 30, 2015.

I really liked this one... great banter between the siblings. Made me laugh in a bunch of places. Loved the underwear gag. I'm looking forward to more in this series.
