What I thought about Wicked Envy
Three college friends take their relationship to a new level in Wicked Envy, the third book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series by Sawyer Bennett.

When Avril finds her boyfriend in a compromising position, she kicks him out and decides she needs to make some changes in her life.  She asks best friends and business partners Dane and Andrew to take her to the Wicked Horse so she could get experience something new.  Both of her friends are hesitant, and Dane refuses, so Andrew ends up taking her to the sex club where their platonic  relationship starts to morph into something else.

Even though Dane wasn't willing to take Avril to the Wicked Horse, he has no problem watching Avril and Andrew get off with their partners for the night.  That's when he realizes that there is something between Andrew and Avril and he wants in on it too.  It takes a little while for the three friends to get on the same page, but they eventually decide to ditch the club in favor of the threesomes they can have at their own homes and other places.

One complication arises when Andrew realizes he isn't really into the lifestyle and Dane starts developing real feelings for Avril.  It's more than just sex for him and for her.  But Dane's past keeps him from admitting his feelings and threatens their long term happiness.

This wasn't my favorite Wicked Horse Vegas story and I'm not sure I can articulate exactly why.  I really liked the dynamic between the three friends, so that wasn't it. Maybe it was the sex in the workplace part that threw me off.  Your mileage may vary as they say.  I did like the exploration of how engaging in sex changed their relationship, and I did end up really liking Andrew for his friendship to Avril and Dane when they really needed it.

So mixed reaction from this reader, but still a tale that kept me interested until the very end.
