"SWAT is hot hot HOT!"-Kerrelyn Sparks, New York Times bestselling author
HE'S FOUND THE ONE...
SWAT officer Landry Cooper is certain Everly Danu is The One. The problem is, she has no idea what Cooper really is. And as much as he wants to trust her, he's not sure he can share his deepest secret...
When Everly's family discovers Cooper's a werewolf, her brothers will do anything to keep them apart-they'll kill him if they have to. Everly is falling hard for the ridiculously handsome SWAT officer, and she's not about to let her brothers tell her who she can love... Until Cooper's secret is exposed and she discovers the man she thought she knew is a monster in disguise.
BUT CAN HE KEEP HER?
What I thought about To Love a Wolf
In this latest book in the SWAT series, Landry Cooper meets Everly, his sole mate, otherwise referred to as "The One" during a bank hold up. There's lots of Alpha-goodness going on here as usual, with Coop saving the day from multiple bank robbers. As a result, he gets Everly and visits with a psychologist for evaluation regarding his anger issues.
Everly Danu is a sweet woman, an artist, who falls hard for Coop too. Seems that The ONE mojo extends to humans and she's head over heels for Landry. But when she takes him home to meet the family, her overprotective brothers and father make her swear to stay away from him. Not understanding why, she continues seeing him. Her brothers aren't happy about that and in the process of (literally) beating Cooper off their sister, Landry learns just why they don't want him around.
Everly's world is rocked with the revelation of Landry's true nature, and she doesn't handle it very well. Landry is devastated, but understanding, especially since he has other life drama to take care of with a situation with an old army friend. It's all very dangerous, especially when Everly gets dragged into things.
I just love this series. There's something so sweet about these big SWAT dudes finding their one true mate that I jump on this series whenever I have a chance. Even though the stories take some dangerous turns, I just find them a whole lotta fun.
I enjoyed To Love a Wolf and it fits well into the rest of the series. Landry Cooper is a sweetheart and I was thrilled to see him finally find The One!
