Is she brave enough to give her heart to a man she only thought she knew?
He was the most charismatic man I’d ever met. Strong, tough, brave. Bold as hell. Something told me Tag Barton could have anything—anyone—he wanted...and he wanted me. It didn’t matter that he was wrong for me in practically every way possible. It didn’t matter that my father would hate it.
I couldn’t resist him. Even if I’d known who he really was and what he was really capable of.
When he suggested we pretend to be engaged, I thought he was the answer to all my problems. He wasn’t. And, in his wake, he left nothing but scorched earth and me, just another casualty of my father’s war.
Can I believe him now when he tells me he loves me? Or is he nothing more than a beautiful, breathtaking lie?

What I thought about Brave Enough
Weatherly O’Neil has grown up priveliged but rebels when her
father wants her to marry for money. She
runs away to her parent’s vineyard and meets the charming and gorgeous Tag. He
was part of the Special Forces team that included Jasper and Kiefer, characters
from the previous books in the series.
He wants Weatherly to be brave enough to take a chance on
him, but he’s got secrets and that provides the conflict for this story. Tag is what I call a sweet alpha – he knows
when to be charming, he knows when to be strong and he knows how to be dirty
when it comes to the bedroom and other places.
There’s a lot of steam between these two and some insta love as they
fall hard for each other.
This book felt different from the first two in the series,
and because of that it stands alone nicely.
I didn’t mind the change in atmosphere and thought that it brought the
series into the “light”. The pacing was
a little slow for me, so that’s why I’m not giving this five stars, but
overall, I enjoyed this final book in the series.
