What I thought about The Gilded Chain
When the rich and gorgeous Wes Thorne offers to take Callie Tyler to Paris to get over Fenn Lockwood, she jumps at the chance to experience something new in life. Of course, she swears she isn't going to get involved, and he's a short term sort of guy when it comes to woman, but it isn't long before these two are falling head over heals for each other.
There's a mildly interesting art thievery plot going on too that involves some characters new to the series.
This predictable story was just an "okay" read for me. The characters are engaging and the romantic elements are really nice, but the BDSM elements in this entire series so far seem to take me right out of the story. It's not that I object to them, the lifestyle just doesn't fit these characters at least in my mind.
