What I thought about Adam's Fall
Adam's Fall picks up right where Adam's Apple left off, with Adam Kingsley now recuperating in the hospital from the incident with his partner. What follows is a lovely romance between Adam and Kathryn and some very serious business repercussions for Adam.
Adam wasn't quite the jerk in Adam's Fall as he was in Adam's Apple and that worked for me since this story was told almost entirely from his first person point of view. I had a bit of a hard time with that. But I did like the story of his growth and transformation as he falls very hard for Kathryn. It was hard to believe he had changed completely though, and well, you should read this to find out what happens!
There was very little drama between Adam and Kathryn, most of that comes from the business aspect of the story, and I think I really liked that part of it. It made their love story very sweet. There was good suspense on the business side as well, as Adam realizes that all is not what it seems.
Adam's Fall was a bit of a different story, told from the male viewpoint. There's a lot of heat in this one too. So overall, even thought a bit slow at the start, Adam's Fall is a sweet love story between "a lonely widow and a lonely playboy". What I liked most was Adam's transformation.
